He was drafted by a different coaching staff...I think. You are correct but still the same owners. The owners of the Browns have been trying to find direction for as long as I can remember. They are on their 7th different head coach since 2000! How can you have any direction when you are changing coaches more often than your players are changing their underwear? Also, if Trent Richardson does not fit into "what they want to do offensively", then what is it that they want to do offensively? I didn't realize that being a running back that is quick and strong were not good attributes to have. Evidently he wasn't slow enough, or weak enough, to fit into what it is the Browns do. Sorry Brian We have a new owner now in Jimmy Haslem. No more Randy Lerner who was more interested in his soccer team and only owned the team because his dad did. I'll give you strong on Richardson, but quick is a stretch.

I was pretty shocked when I first heard the news, but I actually don't mind the trade at all now. We have a ton of picks in next year's draft and that is going to put us into position to dramatically improve the offense and solidify the defense even more, especially in the secondary. We will have to see if they succeed in picking the right guys to really know if the trade was worth it.
Trent Richardson was not the stud RB that everyone thought he was by watching him in college. In over 300 career carries, he has had only 2 rushes for 20+ yards. He likes to dance in the backfield instead of hitting the hole hard and he is not as fast as he thinks he is. He's definitely strong and has great pass catching ability, but I think Jim Brown was right when he called Richardson an "ordinary back" shortly after the Browns drafting him. He is certainly no Adrian Peterson and that 2.7 YPC today is really indicative of what he can do.
He was drafted by the last regime and under a different owner. Players have said that he did not engage with teammates and was often late to injury treatments. He complained about not getting enough carries even when we gave him the ball 20 times and he didn't do much with it.
The problem with the Browns is that every new regime that comes in gets rid of all the guys that don't fit their scheme or their system and then are forced to rebuild. Terrible drafting has led to regimes getting fired and new ones being hired so it becomes a vicious circle of rebuilding. I think that under our new owner and with the regime in place now that we are finally close to being a playoff team within the next year or two.
Our defense is dominant and we looked pretty darn good today with no real RB and our third-string QB playing. Granted, it was against the Vikings but they were a playoff team last year. We certainly didn't miss Richardson and looked competitive. I hope he helps you guys, but I think it was the right move for our team. We'll see what happens the rest of the year and in the draft. Go Browns!

I'd join but I'm already in four other leagues this year (I told myself only 3...haha) and won't have time to devote to it.

What is up with the bass bite this year? I can't seem to get anything going ever since June hit.

Same thing here in Ohio guys. Was out last night for a few hours and managed one bass. Topwater bite was non-existent. I did get a couple taps on a fluke minnow but couldn't connect. I can't wait for those hot summer evenings with non stop bites.

I had no troubles watching the video earlier today.
I love topwater bass fishing. It easily my favorite way to target bass. I have an entire three tray tackle box dedicated to only topwater lures. I have one of those tiny torpedos to Troy but I haven't hooked a bass on it yet. I seem to have better luck on bigger topwater lures.
Awesome video. Is that side of the pond the new hot spot? I don't remember any videos from that location before this year.

Thanks for all the comments and guesses guys. You have me thinking my scale may not be working right...
I got a reading of 3 pounds 3 ounces. I have an electronic Rapala scale.
