I have started a just for fun, no fee to play, salary cap fantasy football league and was wondering if any of you may be interested in joining. What is a salary cap league you ask? I'm new to this but this is how I understand it...In the salary cap format, you are given a budget ($50M, I think) to create a team with each week. There is no draft. NFL players can be on multiple teams in this league. In other words, Drew Brees could owned on any given week by more than one team. The catch is you have to try build the best team each within your given budget. Points are accumulated exactly like regular fantasy football and, I think, you play head to head against another manager in the league each week. Anyone interested? Troy, Chase, Eli, Monty???? Remember, it's just for fun

This is my first time being in a salary cap league so it's a bit of a learning experience for me. What I did learn already after setting my roster for the first week was that this style of league takes a whole lot less time than a standard league. I set my roster in about 3 minutes. All you have to do is set up a roster of anyone who fits within your allotted budget. There are no waiver's that you have to sort through to fill voids on your lineup or anything like that. It's simple and I'm really enjoying the simplicity of it so far! It's easy league to get into even if you feel like you're in too many leagues already.
