Man, that sure went quick.  Back at work. Was hoping to go back next week on my long change over but someone took vacation so no go. Not sure when I'll get back down. A big THANK YOU to Chase for helping me install new toilets Saturday morning. Got that done and almost all my other projects that I needed to get done. One bad thing about living in a jungle is all the foliage that accumulates on the roofs. I must have swept and raked a ton of the stuff off the trailer, porch, shed, and 3 carports. Wish I could just go south for the winter and fish every day. Oh well, maybe one of these days.  |

Newest addition to fish camp! We're at the community boat ramp and park right now drowning some worms and catching dink gills. Did have a catfish get off.  |

Went for a little sunset cruise in the boat this evening then Gail ran up to the 1 grocery store in town that happens to have absolutely awesome fresh meat and bought us a couple bone in ribeyes. DELICIOUS! Lol. We're gonna see if any bluegill or redear want to bite in the morning.   |

Done some clearing in the backyard on our last day and uncovered a pretty nice banana tree.  My banana tree is gone. 🤔 Damn thing had been there for years because you can see it on Google maps street view from '07 I think? Guess someone needed it more than me. 😡  |

Could you tell where they dug it up? No, but you could dig a hole in this sand here and 1 good rain would fill it in. I'd say it's been gone a while because there wasn't a trace of disturbed ground and my mowing crew had let things grow up as you can tell. 🙄 |

Man! I didn't realize how much I've missed my little place in the jungle! I swear I feel more at home here than I do at home. Getting the boat cleaned up for a shrimp run tomorrow. Had a little mess to clean up, a framed picture had fallen off the wall and broke glass in the kitchen and hallway. Looks like there might be some water damage in the wall where the pic had been hanging so I need to get on the roof and check that out. Hopefully no biggie. Just glad to be here!

Just another night at work for me and Monty will be back here again bright and early.
