Patrick, kayaks don't need any kind of sticker or registration, unless they're motorized of course. As far as drinking goes, they can get you for BUI even in a kayak from what I've read. I would imagine it's a common sense thing, as long as your not causing any trouble I doubt anyone would bother you. I've paddled right past co's and haven't been checked for anything yet. Thanks! Now October needs to get here!

The difference is, Troy, you look more respectful and honest then, oh say, some others.

Well, so much for that. I was loading my stuff in the truck tonight after a saltwater kayak trip and got checked by the co. He seemed to really want to get me on something but I was all legal. He got excited when he looked in my cooler and seen my little mangrove snapper but it measured out to his dismay. I hadn't been drinking anything but water so no worries there.

Picked up a yak trailer the other day. Took them over to Ormond Beach yesterday and it did great. I was a little worried about getting it registered down here. No titles on small trailers just the registration with a small bill of sale section on the paper to fill out. Down here you go to the county tax collectors office for plates and the closest one was 26 miles away. Drove over there to this big building that was packed and expected to be waiting an hour or more. I walked in and a lady was standing there and asked what I needed so told her, she yells over to the counter and says I need a "C". I get my ticket and set in this big waiting room...in a few minutes my number shows up on a big tv screen and over the intercom telling me to go to section #1 (there were 30 sections), so I go in the back and there's rows of numbered counters and I walk up to mine and tell her what I need and she says no problem. In and out in 10 minutes with my new Florida tags and registration! Wish Indiana was half as efficient.

Done some clearing in the backyard on our last day and uncovered a pretty nice banana tree.

I've got whistles on the new ones for now but I'm gonna order some more of these like I have on the feelfree yak. It's just a paracord bracelet with a blade, whistle, and compass in the stock.

Looks like we get to deal with another hurricane. Hopefully the little place holds up against Dorian as well as it did against Irma. It always worries me though because of the BIG trees in the yard. One of those giant cypress come down in the right spot and it could wipe me out.

I was beginning to wonder if you still had the place, or not? Glad to see you'll be venturing down that way again.

Can't wait to see the pics from the "Big Crappie Crew" down south. I am working on a possible trip of two in that direction this winter. Possibly Lake Guntersville in Alabama and somewhere in North/Central Florida. The wife and I spend 2 weeks in Sarasota, but most of that is bicycling everyday. It's been years since I have gone south fishing, so I think it is time.

Got a few night shifts to work then vacation FINALLY starts! Seems like it's been forever. The crappie haven't been biting great but I've seen good reports on sheepshead and mangrove snapper. Got a few chores to do but with Chase's help we should be able to knock those out pretty quick. I'm PUMPED!
