Who else bought one besides me? With all the pics I had on my trail cam I figured I'd better. I would probably regret it if I didn't but now I probably won't see any since I bought it. That's usually how it works, right?

I bought one for the first time too. With the extended season and as many birds as we've been seeing, I figured I'd surely get at least one shot at a bird. We did have a flock coming up in the yard, but then a strange dog showed up for a couple weeks and it has all the deer and turkeys ran off. The dogs gone, so hopefully they'll come back.

I was planning on getting one, but after reading up on the fall hunting methods decided to pass. I'm gonna devote most of my time from here on out to bagging my first coyote.

I don't have to buy them cause i am the landowner but if a turkey was to pass through while i was deer hunting i would probably take one.

I think I'll try to set-up for a turkey shoot in the morning. Too darn hot to hang a deer and some smoked turkey sounds darn good. Of course, if a decent buck would walk by I wouldn't be above stickin' em.

I scared the crap out of a hen today. Forgot to range it and shot like it as at 15 but it was 25. Took a ton of feathers off but. No skin damage. Then shot right under a doe. Good day for hunting bad day for shooting.

Good day for hunting bad day for shooting. I know the feeling, been there done that more than once. Sometimes you just feel like throwing the bow at them. But remember that this is why we call it hunting and not shooting.

There is no fall turkey hunt where im hunting this year :/ I do a lot of hunting in Arkansas, and in a lot of places they are not allowing turkey hunting AT ALL this year, the population is really hurting. In zone 3 and a few others they haven't decided spring dates yet.

Zone 3 is where I live and hunt, but I do some hunting in zone 2. I shot a tom last year with a 10 in. beard, but It's not looking good for the turkey bird this year.
