I didn't take a picture but I found one nice yellow while walking to a fishing spot in Parke County. Its a mixed bag this year from what people have told me they are finding.

We just recently moved and in the middle of figuring out where all of our belongings go, she kicked me out of the house. She told me to go do something. What would a guy do if he got kicked out of the house on a nice day? I went fishing. Took my kayak and worms, poles and tackle were in the truck already...I thought. Get to the lake and realize I put my tackle bag in the basement. Oh well, I'm at the lake and have a hook and bobber already on the pole. I tell myself, just don't get snagged and you will be fine. Turned out to be a nice quick trip. She was mostly eggs but she pulled me around for a few minutes. I planned on bluegill so I was using my ultralight with 6lbs line. It was fun and the other people fishing there seen me trying to pull it in and acted like I had Moby Dick. Kinda felt like I did too.

So I should see you catching crappie and walleye at Cagles right? That body of water is a lot bigger on a yak.

After trapping my first few muskrats, I quickly learned why one needs a fur shed. Odors, tools, hanging stretchers and most importantly, heat. The garage is attached to the house but the rats were freezing as I skinned them. Heat would be nice. Also found some little red bugs crawling on my hands, anyone know what these are?

I wonder what the fee would be to fly your yak down to Florida? I want to see you catch a tilapia on it too.

It might help if farmers didn't clean up so much by not discing up the fields in winter and leaving wind breaks and hedge rows. But we all know that won't happen. I kicked up on quail in Chinook when I was going for rabbits, but thats about it.

I would give up deer hunting if I could do this every weekend. I am ready to go again.
