If you are into catfishing, the big ones are definitely biting. Caught this big ole beast Sunday morning as soon as the sun came up.

I just had 6 days off from work and these 2 dried up things is all I could find. Definitely one of my worst mushroom seasons ever! You have to share where you found that beverage growing

They are scams. I read an article about it. I guess if you accept, they somehow get all your info that is on Facebook and you get viruses. Not sure how true it is, but why chance it?

Guess I should have taken a picture yesterday. I went to check my beaver and muskrat traps and they were all frozen. had about 4" of ice but it was not safe ice. 6" in some places but some ponds and lakes still had a litte bit of open water. This was in Clay County

Went crappie fishing today after work with a buddy and he landed a big white bass. It was just 5oz from beating the state record. We both thought he had a small striper on the line. We also caught crappie, largemouth and more white bass. Surprisingly active bite today.

This evening I had a really nice 8 with broken tines grunting all around me. He made a few scrapes and chased some smaller bucks away. Not for sure If he had a doe around but he was very territorial. If I would have had a clear shot I would have taken it.

Another day of crappie fishing after work. This time I brought my kayak. One of the guys I work with and I went for about an hour and a half, and the crappie were hungry. Just using white grubtailed jigs about 10ft down all the way up the surface is where we were getting bites.

A buddy kept begging me to go crappie fishing with him, so I did. We went out on Cecil Harden lake, aka Raccoon Lake, yesterday. We both have 7 foot crappie rods and a paddle boat, on a lake. The wasn't too terrible but the slightest breeze carries you away. We did fairly decent for an hour of fishing, none were monsters though.

Tie on loop for sure. Not insulting your abilities, but if you want it to be as accurate and safe as possible, have professional set it up for you. If those loops come off, it can be really bad. An arrow might go somewhere it shouldn't. I've never had it happen but I don't want it too either.
