Just got in from fishing and didn't have one bite until the cold front hit. Was really windy and moved to the north east side of the strip pit and the action started. Nothing big but caught 17 bass, most around 2lbs. Now the fishing is going down hill for awhile, atleast I got my open water fix for awhile lol.

That's pretty cool. Just hope it doesn't get infested with wasps or hornets before the bats find it.

i bought a 14' jon boat with 5.5hp outboard and trailer. got it cheap and was to excited(cuz of the price) to notice the 3 million holes in the bottom. i took the boat off the trailer when i got it home to examine the trailer rollers, and notice silcone, bondo, jb weld, and some other adhesive on the bottom. all the rivets seem to be patched. i bought some vinyl sticks that are used to patched holes in aluminum boats but figured i could ask you guys. what is the best way to patch these holes? i did also buy some new rivets for the missing rivets that were replaced by silcone.

This is in Clay County near Staunton. The pond is stocked with rainbow trout but has bluegill and bass in it too. I was wondering if anyone has been fishing there lately or at all? I went yesterday and caught a few but forgot my phone and camera in the truck. They are hittiing slow but put a good fight on an ultra light. Might be goin again soon and will make sure to get pics.

I'm pretty sure whitetail can keep antlers up until April if I'm not mistaken. I've found fresh antlers while mushroom hunting before.

[/img] [/img] the extractor wore a hole in the bolt polished the guide rods while i had them out, made a big difference in how smooth it operates the shiny one is the new extractor new extractor installed new trigger hammer, and now has a pull of 2lbs instead of 7lbs why not float the barrel while the stock is off? reassembled

I like the idea. You can still catch the big ones, just throw them back. I do agree with the little cats being better eating. If you catch more than one big one, take it home in a picture or on vid, then post it

thats pretty neat but looks more like a nuisance. looks like they bleed easy too. i like the idea of shooting them like clay pigeons but not in a moving boat.
