Dad’s fishing from the boat lift this morning and caught another 2 pounder! That makes 10 so far this winter; all released to spawn and grow.  |

We’re down in Astor. I think we’ll remember this vacation as the “Shit Show.” The RV did fine. Just took longer because it didn’t feel comfortable getting much past 70 in the wind. Dropped Gail’s parents off in Panama City Beach at her uncles sweet condo. Decided to drive to Astor that night and what should’ve been a 5 hour drive turned into over 6 due to the fog. Got close to running out of fuel on I-10 due to all the damn gas stations being closed after 10pm. Then the real fun began when we got here. Our asshole neighbor is not letting us use our easement. Now getting lawyers involved. The Explorer broke down on us. It’s in the shop(again!) Our big surprise we had hoped to announce in the Astor thread sounds nixed(looong story.) Our refrigerator has quit so we have a new one being delivered Wednesday. That’s just the highlights. There’s been a hundred other things too that would dampen a normal vacation but seem minor with all the other crap happening lol. Gail and me did jump in dad’s boat this evening and caught 4 keepers. Hopefully things will start looking up! 🤪  |

Thanks guys. Hopefully things will get better, but not so far! The dumb shit continued yesterday! Lol.
Doing a phone consultation with an attorney after while to try get that situation taken care of. The mechanic had the Explorer all day yesterday and of course couldn’t make it do what it was doing to us. It’s doing the ol’ intermittent starting thing and it started every time for him. All connections are good and everything tests good. I told him to put a new starter on it anyhow.
Did get a new pressure washer yesterday. Might as well try it out between appointments today. Fridge is supposed to be here between 11:30 and 3:30.
Guess the vacation is now a workcation.

Feeling much better after talking to the attorney about the easement. Things are in motion!
The fridge got delivered early and the 2 delivery guys couldn’t speak much English but they did a hell of a job getting the old one out and the new one in.
Hopefully get the Explorer back today and do some fishing. I’m really tired of driving this RV everywhere! Lol
