We fished the ponds yesterday evening and the crappie are still biting like crazy. I've never seen anything like it! They were biting anything we threw at them. I'm wondering if it's getting over populated and they're just hungry all the time? They sure looked healthy though. Think I'll try to get over there and transfer some to our freezer.  On a sad note; I lost my gopro. I think it was setting on the Ranger seat and one of Gail's dipshit dogs ran off with it. She's going back over there today to see if she can find it in the daylight. I had just filmed a review video of a bale spear I bought too. Hopefully it will show up.  |

The gopro is still missing in action. I walked every where we took the Ranger last night and couldn't find it. Gail has a new dog that I call Devil Dog or Marilyn Manson. It's a young aussiedoodle with white eyes that gives me the creeps and will run off with anything she can. If I ever find her stash I'll probably find my camera. |

FOUND IT! 😂 Was Checking on the pool and grabbed the net to scoop some leaves out and there it was!! I remember moving it out of the full sun the other day but I don't recall putting it in the net. Oh well, sorry Devil Dog!! 😂  |

So now that our dog kennel project is pretty much done we're going to start on the cabin at the ponds. We have it pretty much gutted so it shouldn't be to bad of a project. Cleaning, a couple new ceiling fans, new flooring, and kitchen. Would be nice to get it done by the time the ice hits(hopefully) so we can have a BB&B "fishtogether" there.  |

Man your on a roll ! I’ve been on 12 hours 6 day weeks this whole year & I haven’t got crap done ! I will say if I survive the next 3 days that I’m gonna be in my tree stand for 9 days !! I can’t wait to see the cabins when done , maybe a fishing bed & breakfast.😉

Got started on the cabin this afternoon. Put vinyl down in the bedroom addition. This was the easy one. The rest of the cabin has a concrete floor that is all cracked and uneven. If any of you have any tips on dealing with floors like this please let me know. A couple before and after pics...   |

Went over to the ponds Sunday afternoon and the crappie were biting! Also tried out the Pelican Gator jon boat that Gail bought last week. I like it! Very comfortable to fish out of.

Waited in line for a 1,000 minnows and 20 redear this morning to put in the ponds. Saved some minnows to try and catch some crappie for the skillet this afternoon.  |

That looks like a pretty handy, little boat.
That pond is loaded with some nice crappie. Looks like it is similar to my grandma's pond in that the bass are stunted. But with crappie like that you can't complain.
