Anyone else see them all time anymore? I have two nests within 10 miles or so of my house, hope they will be back this year, but last year I saw them all time, I even saw 3 in 2 days one time.

Up at Cecil Harden Lake (Raccoon Lake) we see them just about everyday after the leaves turn in the fall til about spring time. We watched 3 of them dive at flocks of ducks on the water for about 10 minutes before they got one. It's like National Geographic live.

Theres supposed to be some nests in my county, but I've never taken the time to go check them out. I have never seen one in the wild.

I have seen a few of them around the Goose Pond. I actually caught one going to the water one day and thought that was pretty cool. I figured it was one of the birds from the nest that is just off of 59 south of the road to Pleasantville.

We saw one today at Duck Lake in the Greene-Sullivan S.F. Dugger Unit. It took off right as Chase was snapping a pic.

I have not seen any at Greene-Sullivan, however in northern Vigo and southern Parke I have seen several over the years, most of the time eating on a road kill deer along side of the road. Last winter there was an adult and an young one eating of a roadkill down the road from my parent house. They both spent the better part of a week there. Awesome bird for sure!!!!!!

The wife and I saw a couple flying over a cornfield just south of Spencer on Saturday. It is always a treat to see such a majestic bird flying.

We got to see our first at Green-Sullivan last Friday. It was on the nesting stand on the point in the south-west corner of bass lake. Tried to get some picks with the phone but did not work. Pretty cool!!!

I figured it was one of the birds from the nest that is just off of 59 south of the road to Pleasantville. I can confirm that the nest is indeed an eagle's nest. I stopped on Saturday and scanned it with my binoculars. I was able to see the white head and yellow beak.
