The blugill was about 10 inches, but didn't weigh it. They are thinner than the ones you guys have been catching up there.

Those are some ugly looking catfish! We've been talking to Luke down in Alabama and the crappie bite is on there. They caught 54 yesterday and 40 today.

I cooked up a batch of Florida crappie this evening. They were pretty big filets, so I cut them into strips and we had "Crappie Bites"! Not bad at all...

darn those look so tasty. out of the 6 in our family i am the only one who likes fish.. so thats one reason i muskyfish.. no need to eat those things.. but someday i need to get a mess of gills or crappies and cook them up . im willing to bet that the wife would like those if mine turn out like your did on the plate...bill
