Fishing has been really bad the last few days. Fished in the St Johns river yesterday and caught 1 crappie and 1 catfish. Hopefully it is all the fronts that have been moving thru. It has rained about all day, but they really need the rain. The water is so shallow going into Tick Creek that it is almost impossible to get to Lake Woodruff. It is suppose to turn cold here too, in the upper 20's for lows by the end of the week.

Wow! That's cold. We'd be happy with it, though. Our HIGH for tomorrow is 5!

This is what happened when crappielady decided to stay home because it was to cool. Not quite the limit, but 20 nice ones.

Looks like they're starting to bite. Are those from Dexter?

This crappie weighed 2lb&13oz and is leading the contest right now. It was caught in Lake Dexter.

Let the big crappie loose. It was tempting to get it mounted, but decided to wait for the 3 pounder.

you guys get delays when its 5 degrees lucky!! were use to that temp so this year it took a 3 day span of -45 wind chills and blowing snows that canceled school for 3 days straight
