Nice ones! Looks like it was a little chilly down there? Yes..Nice crappie!!  Chilly??? I was 220' in the air today working on an antenna. It was 23 deg. with a wind gusting to 20mph+..I think it looks quite nice down there.. Yea..I will take some cheese... |

It was a little chilly. The temperature wasn't bad, but it was breezy. The crappie were caught on Lake Woodruff, off of the St Johns river. The two in the picture were right at two pound each.

A couple of new slabs, but going to have to do better. We entered a biggest crappie contest and the largest we had weighed 2.03, the leading weight right now is 2.25. We can keep weighing in until the end of the month, so wish us luck.

Hi, Monty Nothing new to enter in the biggest crappie contest. Fished Lake Dexter and one of the canals this morning and didn't catch anything. We went to Lake Woodruff this afternoon, calendar said bite would begin at 3 pm, and caught 3 average crappies and 1 nice size catfish.
