hey this is gonna be a thread for you to post pics or videos of your tackle, rods, etc. heres my tackle. even though its little, it can get the job done. P.S. (sorry i was to lazy to undo my boat cover to get my rods out and then put it back on in 97 degree weather) Box: top tray: middle tray: soft plastics: bottom tray: Homemade cat bait (smells awful)

Do you know what lake? Ive got plenty of lakes around me that bear huge cats (wheeler, guntersville...) but another would be great!

i went about a week ago to gander mountain didnt see any brush hogs. they are very similar to lizards though, so that could be a substitute

ive got a new england arms "handi rifle" in .243. great youth gun, and its deadly accurate. great for deer, coyotes, and hogs ( if you shoot the hogs right behind the ear).

Sounds good. I've been thinking of trying something different this summer. Might have to give this one a try. Thanks for sharing, alabamaoutdoors! thanks

here is a cat bait i came up with that works pretty good. you need to put all this stuff in a butter or sour cream tub.
WHAT YOU NEED: 2 slices of that Kroger cheap cheese. a hot dog. minced garlic (about enough to cover the bottom of the tub). flour (will explain how much later)
tear up the cheese and hot dog into fairly small pieces. put the garlic specifications into the container, and then put the hot dog and cheese pieces on top of that. mix it well with a spoon. set your microwave to a minute, and put the mixture in. start it, and take it out about every six seconds to mix it up. continue this process until the cheese is melted. then add flour enough flour so that when you mix it, all the pieces will stick together. let this sit some where like your garage until it wreaks, and then put it in the fridge the night before you go fishing to firm it up. Hope this helps!
