here is a cat bait i came up with that works pretty good. you need to put all this stuff in a butter or sour cream tub.
WHAT YOU NEED: 2 slices of that Kroger cheap cheese. a hot dog. minced garlic (about enough to cover the bottom of the tub). flour (will explain how much later)
tear up the cheese and hot dog into fairly small pieces. put the garlic specifications into the container, and then put the hot dog and cheese pieces on top of that. mix it well with a spoon. set your microwave to a minute, and put the mixture in. start it, and take it out about every six seconds to mix it up. continue this process until the cheese is melted. then add flour enough flour so that when you mix it, all the pieces will stick together. let this sit some where like your garage until it wreaks, and then put it in the fridge the night before you go fishing to firm it up. Hope this helps!

Sounds good. I've been thinking of trying something different this summer. Might have to give this one a try. Thanks for sharing, alabamaoutdoors!

i had another question about your bait. Is it firm enough to stay on a normal hook or do you have to use a treble hook?
