They need to cross trout with those asian carp, then the creeks would be full of those jumpers. The river used to flood that lake up on Maple in Terre Haute that is why they tore down the nursing home that used to be there.

I have had dogs for years and always kept mine on a chain or penned up.I feel that if you see the dog once or twice I will give it a pass that it might of got loose. But if it is a constant problem then he is mine.I told a neighbor once that I didn't want his dog running loose and always coming to my property and when the dog disappeared he blamed me for it.From then on if they come around alot or cause problems they just vanish. If they were that concerned about there dogs they would keep it penned up.I live about 1/2 mile out of town, when my kids were small we had chickens and I would let them out in the yard during the day.One winter we lost 9 to dogs from town. Until I declared war on them. After eliminating 4 constant trouble makers the chicken killing stopped.

My oldest son just asked me the other day to go camping on the White River this summer like we used to when he was a kid.We used to put in at the Worthington launch ramp and float down above Newberry bridge and camp out then float on down near Lions where we used to have a cabin to pull out.In 2012 me, him and my then 10 year old grandson put in at the Eel river bridge on hwy 246 and floated down to the log jam and camped over night and fished then floated on to the hwy 59 bridge the next day and pulled out. That was my grandson's first major boat trip and he loved it.

Welcome. Saw some of your videos on you tube with your daughter. Pretty cool. I heard some guy shot himself in the hand loading his gun in the parking lot at the gun show in Indy Saturday.

Did a little walk about yesterday for about 4 hours.Took my 22 magnum and the 22 buckmark pistol.I missed one with the pistol at 20 yards, when I jumped the second one up he stopped at 25 yards so I used the magnum. He felt no pain with a hollow point to the noggin. Also saw a grey squirrel with a black tail and dark grey black body but couldn't get a shot on him till he bisapeared into the pine trees. He would of been a nice skin to hang on the wall. About 4:30 it started raining and I got pretty wet before I got back to the house. Even so it was a good day to be out in the woods.

Me and my oldest son went rabbit hunting today for about 3 hours and kicked up 4. He killed 2 with a 22 pistol ,I had my 10/22 ruger and threw a little lead at one but did not connect. We were hunting east of lone tree road the snow was pretty deep in places where it had drifted. Tracks and rabbit turds were all over the snow where they had been out setting. The longer the snow stays the more they will have to get out to find food, they had been chewing on some of the briar and twig stems. Good time to go kick a few brush piles.

Just joined but have been a guest viewer for several years.I am 53 years old and have lived in Jasonville my hole life and hunted, trapped and fished around here since I was a kid.I live less than a mile from Greendog as the crow flies.I have always liked your you tube videos, that is how I first found your site. This is the first site I have ever joined and i'm not very computer savy so don't laugh to hard at my spelling and computer skills.
