Popped this girl right out behind the garden. Didn't need her getting in there and cleaning out a row of green beans. She will make a nice stew tomorrow. Cleaned it just like a squirrel. Skinned actually easier than a squirrel.

I'm lucky that I have two good walleye lakes within an hour of me, and 3 rivers.

Don't see hardly any walleye posts. Wondering how much walleye fishing is going on in the state?

Teriyaki Chicken with Southern Redneck Twist Steamed some garlic chives and kale for the base. Then a layer of rice. Follow that up with some grilled Teriyaki chicken. Top it off with some homemade cajun salsa that is heated with some oregano and bajio peppers.

Only one state record fell last year. Lake Whitefish. Wouldn't mind getting into some of these, but I think it is a very short window.

The bucks I am seeing up here still have their racks attached. Might need to build a shed trap.

If you're like me, you track your fishing outings to see if it might help you figure them out in the future. Put together a little program to ease the process. Still working on it a bit, but this is how its going to look.

Howd the ice survive the rain in the state? Bunch of rain by me, so I can't imagine it fared well.

You won't catch many fish up in the trees like that lol. Gotta keep em in the water. I only use them for three different applications.

A few weeks ago I sent Lindy Little Joe an email about how a slip bobber of theirs had lost all of the paint after just a few trips out. They replied that if I sent it back and it was bad like I said it was, they would send me out a replacement.
I replied that I wasn't going to do that as the postage would cost more than the cost of the float. But I did send them a picture of the float in question.
They sent me a link to their website and asked if I would pick out a float they would send it to me.
I picked out the husky shy bite and they informed me that it was discontinued and no longer available. I then picked out the MS4-1 thinking I might be able to use it suspend minnows for walleye in the spring.
Today I get a package in the mail and there are 3 of these floats in the box. Little small for what I had in mind and a little large for gills on the bed, but I will find a use for them.
Gotta give Lindy Little Joe a shout out for standing behind their products like this and going out of their way to make sure I was taken care of.
Going to have to be the only float company I use from now on.
