Well I went home and got my decoys and took them out and there wasn't much light left but I figured 20min might produce something. Had my decoys out and was using a distress crow call with my eyes in the sky waiting to see one but never did. Instead there was a coyote that caught me off guard about 30yrds out. Guess I should be ready for anything next time.

I plan on going here real soon depending on weather and free time. Wondering if anyone has any tips and/or tricks. I've got a couple of decoys I bought a few years ago for absolutely no reason, and now I'm gona put them to use

Brad, the last time I was at gander mtn, they had a "gut pile" bag for sale to bait predators. Not sure how it does but it might be worth a shot if you don't have anything else

Unintentionally yes. We used roadkill deer for bald eagles at my work and the coyotes ate it before the eagles got to it.
