Shot plenty of cats mate. I hate cats. Have shot them with .22's, 22/250, 308 and even my 30/30. I like it when I see a cat out bush, and nail the bugger of course. Absolute bucket loads of donkeys up in the northern parts of OZ. Personally, I haven't shot any though. I would though, if given the chance. They are an environmental nightmare.

Looks like good country Troy. I just checked out a map, so I know where Indiana is now.

Pretty sure a barra is related to the NIle Perch. Yeah mate, there's two crocs in the river, to the right of the pic. The tide had just changed, so they had come in to grab any mullet or barra that came over the causeway.

It is illegal to shoot crocs in Oz. They are protected. The local indigenous, the Aborigines(just like your Indians) used to kill them and I think the best part was the tail. I don't even think the Aborigines can kill them now either. There has been talk of introducing a safari/cull on big crocs, but it's still going through court from what I know. The 'greenies' don't want it to happen.

It's older than it looks. My mate who owns it certainly gives it a good thrashing after the piggies. It's a 300 from memory.
Yeah there is, but there is plenty of miles in between it all. You have to work bloody hard to get good country to hunt on.

Yeah mate, top ones are fallows. The one with the camp fire/loo is a red stag. The one in thick bush(and the one I am carrying the leg and head in) is a sambar.

No worries Troy, hope you guys like them. I have gone a bit 'photo mad' already, but thought you guys would be interested to see where, what and how we sort of hunt. Yeah mate, winter here at the moment, but warming up fast. Mind you, I love hunting pigs in summer because they are never far from water, which makes it easier. Only problem is the heat, mid 40's.(which is roughly 105-115 farenheit) Not alot people hunt in the summer though due to the heat, but they are missing out on good hunting in my opinion.

All different parts of OZ here. Darwin to Melbourne is like 3800km(about 2400 miles) so there is a big geographic difference between the different places I have hunted in This scenery is about 4 hours west of sydney. You mainly get rabbits, foxes, cats, pigs and goats here. Some fallow too This is about 3-4 hours north-east of Melbourne. You get sambar deer here This is red deer country, a few hours west of Brisbane. Rusa and fallow here also in pockets This is in Arnhemland in the Northern Territory, east of Darwin. Absolute pig paradise. You also get Water Buffalo and Banteng here. Donkeys, scrub bulls and wild dogs as well. Lots of crocs. Pig rooting One we let go That's just a taste for you, I hope you like them. I have heaps of normal pics too, but don't have a scanner
