What are you going to do with all these chicks you are raising?

I've never seen those bat baits before. Who would've thought that would even be a thing?

I have a whole arsenal of cordless Dewalt tools. With that being said, I made the decision this year to start getting rid of non-dewalt products that I had because I was sick of having multiple different batteries to have to keep charged. I had a Worx string trimmer and leaf blower, as well as, a couple of Ryobi tools that I have since swapped out for dewalt products so that I only have to deal with one type of battery now.
I bought a Dewalt string trimmer about a month ago. I bought the one that has different attachments that can go on it such as an edger, brush cutter, pole saw,, etc. However, since buying it none of the attachments have been available for purchase and I'm not sure if they ever will be. Had I known this I probably would have bought a different model because I mainly bought it for the edger attachment since Dewalt hasn't produced a cordless edger, yet.
I also bought a Dewalt self-propelled lawn mower at the same time. The mower is awesome. Super lightweight, quiet and surprisingly strong. It does a better job at mowing than any other mower I've ever owned. I couldn't be happier.

That's interesting. I would've never thought stripers would do well in a pond. They usually only seem to be found on bigger lakes so I assumed they were a "big water" fish. I'll be staying tuned to see how this turns out. I hope it works!

I have not heard of any bobcat sightings in Marshall county as of yet but we got pictures on one of our trail cameras of one the other day. Most of the bobcat sightings that I have heard of have been in the southern half of the state. I was extremely shocked to get a picture of one on one of our trail cameras here in the far north. I know very little about bobcats but I do have a question. Is it a good thing or bad thing to have bobcats around? Is it something to be concerned about?

So I stumbled into this artist that has apparently been around for a few years but is "new to me". His name is Dillon Carmichael and I have been eating up his music on Youtube. He is actually the nephew of Eddie Montgomery from the famed band Montgomery Gentry. He actually sounds a lot like Eddie. Anyhow, I am a huge fan of old country and I love when new artists have that old country sound...pedal steel guitars, fiddles, baritone voices. This dude does all that. Here is a snippet of his music...Sawin' Logs is pretty funny.

At least it wasn't mice. They would've chewed through half your wires.

I'm pretty sure those are american guinea hogs. They grow slow and don't get as big as a typical pig but the meat will be really good. I think you made a good score here in my opinion.

I've hiked into Back Lake many times. One of my favorite fishing stories comes from that lake but it's too long to post on here right now. Hilly, how in the world did you get your kayak clear back there? Where there's a kayak cart, there's a way! Tony and I did it a few years ago during the Hillbilly Bash. BTW we will be at Hillbilly Acres April 23-25. Welcome to come on by! That is awesome. I've always said I'd love to fish that place from a yak. The entire north shore is unfishable from the bank. I love the serenity of being back there. Someday I'll share my story with you on my experience I had back there. A great memory for sure!

Very cool! I've hiked back to that Back Lake from the other road before. Had never tried Dove Lake. It looked about like our ponds do right now from all the rain. Not much biting there either. I've tried Dove Lake a couple of times and I don't think I ever pulled anything out of it. It's always a big mudhole when I'm there.
