After a frustrating couple days hunting at Shakamak, I needed to go fishin'.

I went to Greene-Sullivan hoping to catch a few trout, but caught a few redear instead. I was fishing in 30 ft water with slip bobbers set at 22-24 ft, using worms. I only caught 4, but they were nice. Brought them home and cleaned them whole, I'm going to fry them up tomorrow with the crappie I've got thawing.

Life is just a series of obstacles preventing you from fishing.

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
