With almost 100 hours in the stand my season comes to a end. I had a great bow season and saw some great deer but always just out of range.  Yesterday I had made my mind up that I would take the first deer that came through. And after the 6th. I finally took a shot.  This 10 pointer came through at 9:30AM just cruising. He was a very large body deer at just over 200lbs. and in full rut. My truck and clothes may never be the same. He stunk!!!  |

sounds like a huge buck, but the picture is too small for me to see. is there a way to see it bigger? congrats on the buck anyways.

Where we hunt in Greene County...one of the landowners killed a little fork and it smelled worse than rotting coyotes in the summer

I'm not sure but Troy may have made it smaller where it wouldn't slow down the site. It was a large picture. Maybe if we ask nice Troy can make it big again for a day or so.

I don't have any idea. I didn't have time to score it before my sons National Band Competition. I shot the deer in the am and still had to drop it off and get home and shower before 3:00pm. I had orders if I was late just stay in the woods. I wouldn't have missed it for the world record buck. Family comes first!!! I guess he'll score in the 140's. He's at my taxidermist. What do you guys think? ? |
