Im getting a digital camera soon but i dont know what kind to buy. I want an affordable one, but i also want one thats fairly nice? Any suggestions

My advice, Don't waste your money on a aiptek camera... because it does have pretty good picture quality but, VERY fragile, No lens cap, 90$, only AA battery, 4.0X DIGITAL zoom. One time it fell off my tripod and the buttons almost came off. My aiptek has totally quit. It didn't even last me a year.
p.s. Aipteks can take video (which is VGA quality) or Picture (8.0 mega pixels)

I had an aiptek too and the battery cover broke off very easily. they are cheap but you definitely get what you pay for with those.
