Anyone see this article in the September Outdoor Life? The Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) did a study of accepted Boone and Crockett and Pope and Young bucks over a 10 year period(1996-2005) and made a map of their findings. The counties are colored in white(0 record bucks), up to red(51+ record bucks). I wonder what it is about the Mississippi River area that produces big bucks? Looks like the Ohio River area is good too. You can get this map as a poster for $10 at www.qdma.com/

if you saw the newer one in buckmasters magazine you can notice that southwestern Indiana is picking up a lot of steam. i think the majority of the counties were at 11-20 with a few farther south up to 21-50
