I just got this recipe off the HIT Squad forum. I think I'll try it with some deer burger on my next days off. Elk Meatloaf
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees Mix together in large mixing bowl
2 lbs Ground Elk Meat (deer will work as well) 1 lb Ground Pork (you can use sausage) 2 eggs 1 TBSP Cracked Pepper 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 small onion chopped 1/2 geen pepper chopped Enough crushed saltines or bread crumbs to make a nice loaf stick together. Normally around 1 cup.
Mix Well form into 3 lb loaf and bake covered for 1hr - 1hr 15minutes
uncover, put the following topping on and bake for another 15 minutes.
Topping
1/2 cup ketchup 1 TBSP yellow mustard 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1/cup honey
I really mess around with the topping. I suggest you do the same. Those are the main ingredients in the topping. Hope you enjoy. Sounds good!

Made this for supper last night using deer burger. It was pretty darn good. Only thing I did different was used a packet of onion soup mix instead of onion. I'm enjoying a meatloaf sandwich right now.
