Geez...after all these years I still have the same truck. The Tahoe has moved on and was replaced with a Durango but the '04 Ram 2500 is still in my possession (and still going) after 16 years of ownership (next month).

Said goodbye to Big Red yesterday. 😢 Got me a new grandpa truck. 😂 So much more comfy than the F250. Lots of upgrades too going from an XL to a XLT. The 360 camera view is the must have I never new I needed! The old…  The new.  |

Our rental for the week in Florida. New Nissan Titan. Had 800 miles on it when I picked it up! Lol I like it but it’s doing some revving up thing in the lower gears. We don’t pay for trucks by the way, just pay for the cheapest and sometimes get lucky.  |

Yeah, what Monty said!!! I had a Ram once. Pretty good truck. I can't imagine how bad the F150 must have been to make you switch. Hope this one has a few less problems. Be like switching from a blond to a brunette.

Yeah it was a HUGE decision! I had bought 5 new trucks in my life and every single one had been a Ford; 2 Rangers, 2 F150’s, and a F250. Had never had an issue with the 2018 F250 and wish I had just kept it and waited for one of those Maverick’s to become available to use as a daily driver. After all the issues with this new F150 though I’ll be hard pressed to buy another Ford. On top of all the issues I mentioned in the 2 videos I posted, it started jerking real hard when I would stop and put it in park. Then I started getting messages saying the onboard power had a ground fault error. The final straw was Tuesday evening, we were in Terre Haute shopping and every time I would pull into a parking spot we would get a strong smell of burning plastic. No idea what it was and I didn’t get any kind of check engine lights or anything but it’s not my problem anymore. 😂 I was actually looking at new GMC AT4’s, I love that new desert sand color they have, but I read that people are having a bunch of minor issues with those too. I might be old fashioned but I like my new vehicles with no issues. I’ve only put 30 some miles on the Dodge but I’m really liking it so far!  |
