me and my dad were fishing in alpena Michigan on this weedy lake, we were trolling through stumps and logs in 85 degree weather i see a log jam i cast and i pick up a lazy bass, when i say lazy i mean lazy it let me drag it to the boat we didn't take a picture because the the weather and our live well don't work very well

hard to believe a bass only 16 inches can wiegh twelve pounds.

Matt, you do know that the Michigan State Record Largemouth is 11lbs 15 oz and was 27" long right??

if the record was 27 inches than a 16 incher could not weigh that much.

i dont think it was close to 12 pounds sounds mroe like it was 16 inchs and 1.2 pounds

I agree. That's why pictures are important. I may not even weigh most of my fish, but if it's big, I will certainly take a picture just so noboday can tell me what it wasn't...
