Lately, I've been checking the fields around our house hoping to get some bucks in velvet video.

All I've saw have been does and turkeys. Today, after the storms I checked the fields across the road and I saw some turkeys and a deer. After videoing the doe and group of turkeys, another gang of turkeys came out. I believe they were all toms, one of them were strutting.

Then the toms run to the other birds and the fight is on! I think the first group were mainly jakes. It's late June and the birds are still strutting and gobbling!!

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
