I had been having trouble with leg cramps, usually at night. Most times I can just walk them out but some of the Charlie horses lately were so bad I couldn't hardly get rid of them! I was watching a Trip Smith boat camping video and he was using LMNT drink mix and explaining all of the benefits so I decided to give it a try. It worked! Not a cramp since I started drinking LMNT. I also recently started a low carb diet to help control my blood sugar and LMNT fits perfectly into that lifestyle. I tried the Atkins Diet years ago and couldn't take the muscle cramps(or constipation. ) I believe the magnesium in LMNT helps with both of those issues. LMNT comes in many different flavors that are sweetened with Stevia or you can get it raw with just the salt, potassium, and magnesium. My favorites are watermelon and chili mango, delicious! The biggest drawback to LMNT is the cost at about $1.50 a serving. I usually only have to drink 1 packet a day though so it is manageable. I have purchased enough of it now that I have my own discount code if anyone would like to try it. By going through my link you'll receive a free sample pack with various flavors and I'll get some freebies too. elementallabs.refr.cc/hoosierredneckStay Salty!

I occasionally go through periods where I get cramps really bad as well. I'm sure it's because I drink too much beer and not enough water and things with vitamins and minerals. A few years back a neighbor give me about a half of a butter container full of some kind of electrolyte powder (I have no idea the name of it) to use for it. It does work wonders! Like you, I mainly get them at night when I'm in bed. After taking just one dose of that I will be good for a few weeks believe it or not. Also, if you are having cramps and are not where you can get to your electrolyte powder quickly chugging a gatorade or 2 has really helped me but that isn't near as effective as the electrolyte powder. I never thought that would work but it has when I really needed some relief.
