I agree, hard to believe, but I am seeing posts about a few in southern Illinois and Indiana. A farm stand up here in Elkhart county posted a picture the other day of them getting ready to plant early sweet corn. Said this is the earliest they have ever planted. Keep us posted. I mentioned to the wife about hunting them this year, but making sure we keep the ticks off.

I came home tonight and fried up the shrooms from yesterday. Gail has to eat gluten free and I found this breading at the local IGA. Mixed it about 50/50 with tapioca starch and then just breaded and fried. Really good and crispy! Unfortunately Gail won't be home until tomorrow night and I'll have ate them all by then but I'll know what to do next time. 😂
