Yes I’ve hunted all last week with minimal sightings. Probably has a lot to do with building going on my property. I’m hunting for 4 more days after today . Hopefully get it done but if not I have the smoke pole on standby! That is a nice buck at your work! Maybe feed him an arrow at break time 😊

I harvested a nice doe on opening morning of firearms season. I was seeing lots of deer leading up to firearms season but very few sightings of quality bucks. Since firearms opened it's been tough to even see a deer. Seems to happen every year.

So Gail’s big dogs that run loose have been bringing deer parts from somewhere. I’ll find a leg here some spine there lol. Last night when I got home from work I almost ran over the head and neck. Guess they were helping me out since I’m not hunting. 😂
Then this morning at work when I went out to the pump house there was a turkey feather in front of the gate. As I was leaving I saw a flock of toms out in the field. I feel like the critters miss me! 😂

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
