Checked my 5 crab pots today after a 2 day soak. Ended up with 9 and they were on the small side but they all came home with us. Cleaned them and cooked them on the grill and they were pretty darn good. I’ll do a catch/clean/cook video when I get home. The only trap that was empty was the one I baited with crappie carcasses only. All the others I added a chicken leg to.
We saved a couple for bait over in the salt tomorrow.

Yep! That was the first time I've had them grilled and they were pretty darn good. These were small so there wasn't much meat on them but the taste was amazing.

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
