I’ve made such little time to work with Daffy this fall I was a little leery of taking her down to Glendale. Yesterday after the Colts game I put 4 of the coturnix quail out for her and she did just fine so off to Montgomery we went this morning!
I wanted to go to the same area as last year and as we’re waiting to check in the 2 gentlemen in front of us are talking about that same area and how nice it is. Luckily they had picked another spot and we were able to get the same area as last year. We pull into the parking area and Chase see’s a rooster out in the field not 20 yards away! I get my chaps on and off we go after the bird. What a start! Lol.
Daffy did great. We had our limit by 9:20 and she was still not ready to quit when we did. I was so proud of her but a little ashamed too that I don’t take her out as much as she deserves. She’s just a natural.

Had issues with my gopro and I just can't get the hang of my shotkam. At least the gopro worked for the first bird!

Glad to see Daffy was able to find a few and you guys were able to knock them down.
