It was beautiful out but pretty slow going. We caught a couple small bass, a couple drum, a channel cat, and a pumpkin seed. We put some hours in too!

It is a really nice place! Playground, toilets, lots of picnic tables and grills. Supposedly you can catch keeper walleye there but all I’ve ever managed is a 6 incher. 😂
We did get into some white bass one spring that was fun.

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
