Birds

The food plots did alright. The best part was throwing some pumpkin seeds out and then having the grandkids pick their own! I did kick up one covey of quail a couple months back but that’s something I normally do in early fall.
Trying to find some birds to release for Daffy but so far the closest I’ve found are down by Lexington and not cheap! I’m waiting for All-Star Game Birds in Loogootee to do an inventory to see if he’s going to have any left after filling his contracts. Might have to bite the bullet and get a game bird permit and raise my own pheasant and bobwhite.
