So my favorite place for BBQ is Smokin' Jacks Rib Shack(aka The Pink Pig) in Bloomington. That's where the wedding food came from last weekend and after days of leftovers I'm still not tired of it!

As I was eating the last few ribs for lunch today I got to thinking about what other places are out there. I know Gail's favorite is a chain called City BBQ and it is really good. Their smoked turkey is amazing! So what's your favorite BBQ joint?

Happy Matt's, but I go for the burgers.

I always judge a BBQ place on their brisket. I figure most folks can smoke a hog, pull the meat and cover it in sauce. Brisket is, in my opinion, a little tougher to get right and Happy Matt has some damn good brisket.

Smokin' Jack's is definitely a good spot though.

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
