So I've been seeing the stuff one of my co-workers(rowdy1) has been bringing in for lunch that he has cooked in his Instant Pot so when they had one in the Sam's Club one day sale I bit the bullet. Glad I did! Only used it a couple times but I like how simple and fast it is. Looking forward to experimenting with it. Do any of you have one and if so do you have any "must try" recipes?

I have one but I don't have any must try recipes yet. But, now I feel challenged so I need to get to work and find some great recipes to share on here. The one thing I will say is once you "boil" eggs in one you will never do it any other way! I love doing soft boiled eggs in mine. So yummy and it takes less than 5 minutes!

I got a cheap one on sale at BB for like 30 bucks. Haven’t done a whole lot with it yet though. I’d be interested if anybody discovers any good recipes. I’ve pretty much only done the crack chicken and chili in it.

I've done a beef stew that I just threw together that was awesome and crack chicken chilli that was ok. Sitting here trying to decided what to make today. Might make beans so my coworkers will love me this week. 😂

I had a couple misses in the instant pot recently. Tried making mac and cheese and rice and both were horrible. Got the dreaded burn alarm and had to stop it and restart with both dishes. I'm beginning to think half the recipes I see online are just bullshit. 🙄 Last night I made back ribs and they were really good. I used a rub on the ribs and then put about a cup of water and some liquid smoke in the pot. I put the rack thingamajig in the pot and put the ribs on it. Cooked on high for 23 minutes with a 5 minute natural release. Took the ribs out and put some bbq sauce on them and then they went under the broiler for a few minutes. Not bad at all!

I did ribs the exact same way a while back. They turned out really good.
