Hit the local creek for a couple of hours this evening. Threw a tube in a couple of spots with no takers. I mostly wanted to see if the topwater bite was turning on yet, and I got my answer...
All three fish were caught on a Whopper Plopper 110 in the I Know It color. I tried the 75 on a few casts, but no one was home in the hole I was fishing. It was nice to get my feet wet. I hadn’t waded for smallies since last July.
