What a great multi-species trip! Had a blast just wish it didn't go so fast. Chase and me were setting on the plane yesterday to fly home and it felt like we had just landed on day one.
We ate like kings too...fish fry with freshly caught crappie, crab boil, and the last day we had grilled royal red shrimp and fried gator.
Can't wait to go back!!

Looks like a good trip! They were catching the whiting when I was at the gulf beaches last summer, we got some given to us fresh and it was very good. Also saw a lot of sheephead in the surf snorkeling. Good time of year right now to fish. Food looks awesome.

Mom and Dad are still catching the crappie. It's been different this winter, most of their fish have come via minnows in the river where in the past 90% of their catches have come by trolling the lakes. This is also the time when the bite starts slowing down but not this year. If they aren't out in the boat dad has still been catching them off the dock.
