He's probably just going to try and pad his "species challenge" count. I'm hoping to get just one species this year  It looks like I'm about a month away from having my new home completed so I will be hitting the water shortly after that. I'm so ready for this project to be done! |

Made the run from Astor back to Lake Woodruff yesterday and the wind blew us off the lake. Only managed 4 trolling jigs. Stuck to the river this morning and did better. My dad and Chase were in dad's boat and minnow fished and Gail and me were in mine and were using jigs and jigs tipped with minnows. They outfished us 16 to 6 and I added 1 catfish. We came in at lunch and had a heck of a fish fry! This evening my Chase and me went back on the river for some bass fishing and each caught 1 small one on a junebug worm. It was a fun day!     |

How long until you move down there permanently? I would tomorrow if I could talk Gail into it.  Hopefully we can spend the winters one of these days. |

It looks like I'm about a month away from having my new home completed so I will be hitting the water shortly after that. I'm so ready for this project to be done!
Just another night at work for me and Monty will be back here again bright and early.
