Man I don't know how you come back. I don't think I would be able to come home having a place down there! It ain't easy.  I could seriously live full time where my trailer is. There is SO much to do within an hours drive that I'm probably to old to do them all.  I don't think I could live over on the coast like I used to though. Just way to many people now compared to 25 years ago. It's a relief to get back to little old laid back Astor every evening. |

How much would it cost if I were to rent it for a week? Let me discuss it with Gail this evening and I'll shoot you a pm. We were just talking about it the other day but didn't come up with an actual number. I don't care if I make any money off the place but it would be nice to have a little help with the monthly costs. The water and electric has a monthly minimum of $35 and $65 and then the taxes and mowing are about $60 each a month. If it gets to where the place is used more often I might add cable and internet. Right now we just have a big DVD and bluray collection if we want to watch TV. |

Just get internet and jailbreak a Firestick. No need for cable.

Owner hooks are about all I use if I am serious side fishing. I like the groves but go way out for spawning reds then you get in the big ones 20lb+ but you have to know where they are (charter$$)

This guy was free lining shrimp at the same place I was and had some fun with a tarpon a couple days ago!
