Monty and me have both aquired electric smokers recently and he texted me pics of some ribs he done a while back so I just had to do some today! We used the "3-2-1" method...3 hours smoke, 2 hours wrapped in foil, then 1 more hour at the end unwrapped and back in the smoke with the sauce if you want. I was gonna use apple juice in the foil wrap but it got drank so I used grape/cranberry juice. They were delicious! The rub I picked up at Academy on clearance sale.

Is that a Masterbuilt smoker? How do you like the new smoker? I have a bradley smoker and love it!

Is that a Masterbuilt smoker? How do you like the new smoker? I have a bradley smoker and love it! No mines a "Smoke Hollow" brand that Gail got me for Christmas. Monty got a heck of a deal on a Masterbuilt at walsuck on clearance a while back. His is the fancy wireless bluetooth model. The only thing I don't like about mine is it didn't come with the meat probe even though it has a display for it. I went to order one and every place is sold out unless I want to pay $85 on ebay(they retail for $15.) I ended up getting a Thermoworks DOT for a probe.

My butthead brother sent me this as I was getting ready for work this evening. He smoked a bacon wrapped pork loin in marinade from Sam's. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Smoked some more back ribs the other day. So good! Think the ones with just the dry rub are better than the sauced ones.
