Hopefully it will take off. We're planning on popping kettle corn for the opening weekend and more if it pans out.

The first weekend for the flea market was a success even with the cold weather. Sold a lot of popcorn and found a few bargains. The Dixon's are some really nice people and I think they'll make a go of this once people figure out what's going on there. On the weekends that the flea market isn't going on they will be having a Saturday night auction. This Saturday will be the first one and they've invited us to set up a table inside to sell our goodies!

We ate that bag in about 10 minutes lol. My wife wants me to order a bag of the cheddar if you decide to make it to Shrooms and Gills.

lol That cheddar is some good stuff, we use a real powdered cheese made by Hoosier Hill Farm. It's expensive but worth it! If you're gonna be around Linton this Saturday we're gonna have a table set up inside Pickin Dixon's starting around 4 or so. Happy Matt's will be set up in the parking lot again around 6.

On a small scale...only 1 auction going on at once but they moved items pretty quick and sold a LOT of stuff. It was a good time and I got some bargains on some restaurant/kitchen items. The flea market is this coming weekend but I'll be back to work and Gail isn't up to popping by herself. Not sure right now when we'll be set up again because I work the next 2 weekends.

I had to work but Gail went to the auction last night just to look for some bargains and she said hardly anyone showed up. They finally shut it down early. I couldn't believe it because the first one was standing room only. Possibly everyone in the area dealing with prom night...not sure?

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
