Fished west lake yesterday. The only thing hungry was the catfish. I bet you could easily catch a mess of good eating sized channels there. I keep forgetting to bring a fish finder to check water temps but I can tell the water is still really warm. I'm hoping it's starts to cool off a bit so the bite gets better and maybe I can go after some muskie over there.

Had that happen on the first cast in the creek one morning.

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
