Hit Monroe for wipers on Friday with a buddy and a friend from the PD who retired and started a fishing charter...

Those fish definitely have a good tug to them, but I still prefer smallies in the creek.

I caught an 18 inch wiper while ice fishing with 2lb test line. They do have a good tug!

This was my surprise ice fishing catch. I didn't even know they were in the lake.

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
