Late last summer we saw some people bow fishing after dark at bass. Made us wonder because we rairly see any carp down there. We have now started finding muskie that have been shot by a bow. My dad was down there today and found a 42 that had been shot and it is the third we have found since the beginning of april. you see someone bowfishing down there please call the tip line, these are a low density fish and their numbers can't take this.

That's unbelievable.  I wonder if these idiots think they're shooting at gar or are purposely targeting muskie? Guess it really doesn't matter. The sad part is that they could go across the road to West Lake and find all kinds of LEGAL targets. |

They know what they are doing. The left a pile of dead carp at the ramp and threw a dead muskie over in the weeds thinking no one would see it I guess.

I would call the TIP line and let them know. I'm sure they'd have some of the local COs patrol the area at night in an effort to catch them.

Was at a local Linton area bait shop and told them we were fishing musky at Bass. One of the employees there told me the musky have ruined the bass fishing there and would like to see all of them killed. Told us to put a screw driver through the eyes of every one we catch. After I told him I'd call DNR if I ever saw anyone do that he told me he was only kidding and would never do that. Wouldn't think any bait shop owner or worker would ever say anything say anything negative about any fish species they sell bait for. Not sure I'll ever go there again.
Would love to see one of them keep large suckers for fall fishing.

As many shad & carp that were in there I think the fishing all around has gotten better . Curious on who said it also .

There were two guys there. A older man and a middle aged man. It was the younger guy.
