Heard some gobbles way, way off from the roost. After that it was quiet. Seen a couple deer, that was it.  Chase is getting changed for school, I'll drop him off then get in the ground blind for a while. It was cold out there this morning! |

The turkeys I saw this weekend didnt gobble at all. They are sneaky.

Today was a big snoozer, no action at all. Hopefully the warmer weather will get the toms all hot and bothered again.  |

Are you guys hunting this weekend? I've been working, but I'm off now. Woo Hoo!! Chase and me will be out there bright and early Sunday. Are you done now? Or can you kill more than one bird in Iowa? |

The best is yet to come Troy 4th season starts April 29th and ends May 17th. All of our pro staffers have a good shot at getting a bird and on video. Good luck in the morning! |
