It hides you pretty good! I really like realtree, but I have some mossy oak too. I would like to have a gun in realtree.

what i don't get is that you can kill a deer wearing blaze orange, but its a huge deal about camo. i understand that with turkey but with deer i'm confused

Ya When i go out deer hunting, i wear blue jeans, a tee shirt, a green jacket, and a face mask. Wats the big deal with having to wear good camo.

camo is really expensive, I think that people can be just as successful wearing muted colors like greens and browns. I think hunters only need to wear camo when they are hunting really heavily hunted and pressured deer.

I don't think it's a dumb question. It just comes down to a couple different factors. What caliber of deer are you going after, and what type of hunting are you doing? If you're going after a mature buck with a bow where you need to get them within 30-40 yards, you better have good camo and some kind of scent elimination system. Those monsters don't get to be monsters by being dumb. Same goes for a wily, old doe.
Now, on the other hand, if you're hunting with a shotgun, muzzleloader or rifle, and your range is a lot longer, it's not AS critical. Let's face it. Young deer aren't the brightest critters in the woods. They haven't been around long enough to know hunters are there to KILL them. Also, a nice buck in full rut has other things on his mind and may not be as careful as he should be.
With all that being said, I personally don't go in the woods without full camo washed in scent-free detergent, showering with scent-free soap, and spraying down with Scent Away. Just my 2 (or more) cents worth.

Well i dont shot gun hunt i mainly bow hunt so i wear camo, and i muzzleloader hunt and i just wear an orange hat when i gun hunt, and it wasnt a dumb question, i didnt think about that you most likely were a shotgun hunter, and i am the same i do all that with no scent products
