Looks like a pretty cool cabin.
Seems like the bite is tough this time of year. I'm sure the fluctuations in the weather has the fish confused. They were gearing up for winter and had almost 80 degree weather thrown at them last week, but back down in the 50's this week.

The groundhog pic reminds me of fishing there a few years back in October; Chase and me watched a mink hunting along shore for a long time and snapped some pics of it. Speaking of mink....I hit one this morning driving to work out by Shakamak. That's the first time I've ever ran over a mink!

I've never seen a mink in the wild. Did you throw him in the back of the truck to skin out??
I have a feeling that ground hog is gonna get flooded out come spring time when the lake level is back up. The lake looked maybe 2-3 feet low??

Did you keep the mink? I would've! I honestly thought about going back, but I was already running late to work!

Pretty cool, I have yet to see a mink at Shakamak. Had a good time though. Your wife really likes cats.

had she got her hands on the cat I'm sure the damn thing would be in my house right now. Boggles my mind that they aren't doing anything to get the feral cats out of the park.
